While the technology has been around for quite a while, there's still relatively little information available on click popularity and its role in the
algorithms of search engines. Most experts do know which engines are using it and mention click popularity once in a while, but it seems like everyone is having difficulty estimating just how much a good click popularity rating can improve your search engine ranking. The only thing that is well-known is that in Direct Hit, the success of your site nearly completely depends on how many clicks your listing attracts. Since this search engine delivers results to MSN and several other clients, knowing the basics of click popularity is vital to every SEO. Just what part click popularity plays in the algorithms of Yahoo, Altavista and FAST is much harder to say. It does have some effect, but search engine optimization experts disagree over whether that effect is a minor or a major one. So, if you are reading this article because you want to fare better at Direct Hit, then by all means use the tricks listed below. But if you're more interested in Yahoo, AV or FAST, my opinion is that the reward from your efforts to improve the click popularity of your site might not be big enough to make the job worth your while. |

Keyword research is certainly the most important phase in Search Engine Optimization process. Whether you hire a SEO company to do the job or you are doing the SEO process in-house, take your time during this process.
You should not be a spectator, but you should be an active part of the decision making process. Try to think as a customer Before to start the keywords analysis & research process, be sure that you know how you should perform this process. Try to think about your keywords as a customer. How would you search for your product or service? Which keyword or key phrase would you use? Think about which words or phrases describe best your product or service.

How to create your business online as a success is all about leveraging the search engines. Google, MSN, Yahoo! are the three largest and should be your main focus. While your website is for users such as yourself, you also want to create the web pages for the search engines. There is a unique balance that gets played when developing web pages for better search engine rankings. The balance is making sure it is easily navigable for humans as well as search engine spiders.
A good point is always having a easy navigation bar either on the top left or right of your website that is consistent. Another good tip is having a heading for those navigation bars and making sure that seven links are not below or above those navigation headings. For example, the heading should be bolded and then have no more than seven links below or above. If there's too much information for the human eye, they will get distracted and leave the site. Make your navigation bars very simple for users. The faster they can see information in their view, the faster they will click and get to a deeper part of your web page. Search engine optimization includes all of the following. It includes key word research to find out what your customers are looking for and how they say the words about the products or services that you are selling. It also includes on-site optimization. This is basically organizing your website so it is friendly and also user-friendly for Google as well as humans. The last part is reports. Reports are effective ways to see what is going on with the website and make the needed changes. And the most important part for search engine ranking is really the off-site or link building campaign.

All of you must have heard about SEO and PPC. Though they are spoken of in the same breath, they are entirely different. I will try and explain the differences here.
SEO SEO or Search Engine Optimization is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a website via natural or organic search results for targeted keywords on search engines. SEO is a continuous process and takes lot of time and effort. You can learn the process and do it yourself. It won’t cost you much and will bring in better results in the longer run. PPC PPC or Pay Per Click is an advertising model used on search engines, advertising websites and other content related websites, where advertisers pay only when a user clicks on the ad. It is a one-time process and will bring in instant results. The process will cost you more than SEO but loses out to SEO in the long run. |
